| Description | Start point near bus stop at top of Black Lane we walk along part of Loxley River and proceed with caution over Rowel Bridge, up Storrs Lane to Spoon Lane, across fields to Stopes Wood passing the fire-clay mine entrance. Lane walking along to Underbank Chapel (benches) then along road, lanes and footpaths to Our Cow Molly farm. Descend, facing Dungworth down to Loxley River and along wooded valleyside, down through Beacon Wood and back to Rowel Bridge, riverside and Black Lane. Wisewood Inn option close by. Some roadside walking but mostly quiet lanes. Some stiles. |
