| Walk Name | Two Dales and a nature reserve |
| Description | Starting at Tideswell church we walk on water lane track to Wheston and onto the Bridleway and Limestone way before we eventually arrive at Millers dale station. From there we have a very short walk on the Monsal trail before heading up a very steep path to the Lime kilns and up to the nature reserve. We walk through the quarry (there's lots of wild flowers) and onto Priestcliffle lees reserve. There's a path and steps on our descend back to the Monsal trail. We go down to the river and to Tideswell Dale back before arriving in Tideswell for refreshments at the George. The path can be steep in places up to the reserve but there's a banister if you need it. Bring poles if you use them. |
