Walk Name Derwent Edge and Derwent Valley
Description From the car park (lay-by), we will cross the road and begin our steady ascent onto Derwent Edge. We will follow the skyline to admire the famous gritstone tors, including the Wheel Stones, White Tor, Dovestone Tor, and Back Tor.
From the high point, we head across Cartledge Stones Ridge to join the footpath at Abbey Brook, where we begin our descent toward the Derwent Reservoir. Then we will walk alongside the beautiful waters of both Derwent and Ladybower Reservoirs before a final short climb toward Ladybower House to return to the car park.

Start Point Cutthroat Bridge Lay By (A57)
Start Point Details Layby just to the east of Cutthroat Bridge on A57 - 1 mile east (Sheffield side) of Ladybower Inn. The lay-by does get busy at the weekends.
