| Description | Walking through the Longshaw estate and down to Grindleford through Padley Gorge then through Rough Wood, into Hathersage and up to the church. Then working our way up to Dennis Knoll via Greens House, up on to Stanage Edge and back to Longshaw along the edge and Higger Tour. A mixture of terrain, Padley Gorge can/will be slippery and steep in places. May reverse the direction of the walk if windy to try and keep the wind behind us if possible. |

Parking available on the roadside near fox house or the National trust car park that is free for NT members, £8 for non members it can be busy so allow time to find a parking space.
