| Description | Walking from Lodge Moor to Bole Hill Farm and then to Porter Brook. From there we will go to the Brown Edge Quarries, Rud Hill, White Stone and then descend to Redmires. After that going to Head Stone, Wyming Brook, Fox Hagg, crossing the river and the road to Rivelin Mill. Crossing the road again and ascending to the boundaries of Hallamshire Golf Club and back to the car park |

| Start Point Details | Car park (free) is through gap in wall on the left just past the Sportsman Pub (opposite house on right and before the wood on left) as you head along Redmires Road from Lodge Moor towards Redmires reservoir. Go under height restriction across entrance, passing the recycling point. Please do not park in the Sportsman car park. Car park not suitable for high vehicles. ///ports.shells.waters |

| Additional Information | Please bring a head torch, just in case, as daylight hours in November are significantly shorter. Mainly on well-established footpaths, but the ground could be muddy at Rud Hill (depending on the weather conditions). Please ensure you are fully booted and equipped, ready to start walking by 9:00 am. We will begin promptly at 9:00 am sharp. There will be a walk briefing at 8:57 am.
