| Description | Heading North out of the village we’ll pass the pond and head towards Madge Dale and Carder Low. We then head for Pilsbury and have a ‘coffee stop’ at the Motte & Baileys of Pilsbury Castle. Next is Bridge End Farm at Crowdicote then we head for Green Lane and beggar’s Bridge and stop in Longnor for lunch. We leave Longnor heading South and pick up the river path and the Manifold Trail to Brund and Townend then back into Hartington. |
