| Description | Heading South out of the Pay n Display car park, pick up the path for Goosehill Hall and head for Speedwell Cavern (if the weather is dry we will take the short cut up the gully onto the top of Winnats Pass) passing Treak Cliff Cavern, over to Windy Knoll and then onto Rushup Edge and Lords Seat. We’ll pick up the Pennine Bridleway to Whitelee before heading down Perry Dale and into Peak Forest (pub??). heading up the main road we’ll pass Snelslow Farm and head for Breacktor and The Cop and upto the trig point at Starvehouse Mine on Bradwell Moor. We cross the moor to Dirtlow Rake and down Pin Dale and back into Castleton. |
