Description | Start Old Glossop bus turning circle Shepley Street GR SK0448 9483 Post code SK13 7SG Route From old Glossop we follow the fields across to the trans Pennine Trail ( put the track back and electrify as it was!!). At Torsade Clough we follow the Pennine Way to Bleaklow Head. We then go Higher shelf Stones either straight across or via the Pennine way depending on the weather!! We visit the B29 then to James's Thorn and visit the other crash sites. We follow a steep descent to the old roman road route and back to the start. |

Start Point Details | Entering Glossop from the Snake Pass, take a right turn into Manor Park Road (by the Commercial Inn, before the mini-roundabout) then follow the road round to the right into Shepley Street (by The Queens).
