Starting from The Cross Scythes pub we head down the lane passing the old Totley campus and head for the Sheffield Country Way (SCW) path and head for Gillfield Wood. We then walk along the main road for a short section passing the old works then head up the hillside to the top of Totley Moor and have a short stop at the trig. heading across the moor we pick up the SCW again and head for the Longshaw Estate, we'll call into the new visitor center (toilets). then it's a walk through the grounds and head for Burbage Edge, Burbage Moor and Houndkirk Road then head for Blacka Hill and make our way down into Totley. |
