| Description | Mince Pies have been in the shops since late August... .. . bring fresh ones. We leave the village via the church and head NE on to Hardrake Lane and up onto High Rake (not a steep ascent), We'll then descend to Black Harry Gate and pass one of the settlement ponds for Cavendish Mill. Then we head for and over Longstone Moor and drop down into Little Longstone and pick up the Monsal Trail for a short distance (Toll Bar House) then head N towards Rowland and across fields back to G Longstone. |
