| Description | Fancy a day at Penistone Agricultural Show? I’m going and I'm going to catch a train to Denby Dale and walk 5.5 miles South over some farmland, with fine views, into Penistone. Both stations are on the Sheffield to Huddersfield line so you can travel to the station of your choice and meet up with me at Denby Dale for 10.27am When one’s had enough Countryfile moments then it’s time to take a train from Penistone back to the station of your choice. Tickets are £16pp until 31 August then £20 from 1 September then until the day of the show, and on the gate. You can buy them on-line. Rail fares vary on yr journey, e.g an off-peak return Sheffield to Denby Dale (good for the return as well) is about £8. No Dogs please |
