Start Time 10:00 am
Walk Name The Roaches, Hen Cloud and Lud’s Church from Upper Hulme
Description This route starts in Upper Hulme and first takes us on a steep climb up to Hen Cloud, with views of the Tittesworth Reservoir to the West. From here we head down towards the Roaches, and make our way along the top until we drop down and walk through some woods before reaching Luds Church. We then loop back and take a path parallel to the Roaches, but lower-level, until we reach Ramshaw Rocks then it’s back to the start in Upper Hulme.
The ascent up onto hen cloud involves a scramble with a couple of awkward bits and Gaiters are very much advised, parts are very boggy around Luds Church and over to Ramshaw Rocks.
