Walk Name Hope - Castleton on the Ridge
Description I mean, why not? We haven't done this in ages. Hope - Castleton by the low level route then up onto Mam Tor and along the ridge to Lose Hill before plummeting into whichever pub will have us for beer garden based loveliness. Quite a bit of climb but if we do it this way round it's barely noticeable. * Spectacular views from on top.

Start Point Details Hope Primary School - Eccles Close, Hope. There is some on road parking on Eccles Close, and on Edale Road. NB: There are signs in the Estate discouraging you from parking.
There are toilet facilities in the main car park in Hope.

Additional Information If you have trouble parking near the school, we will be setting off through the centre of Hope village so we could meet you there. There is parking along Edale Road and also a few spaces along Pindale Rd.

Please sign up early, this will help if details change at short notice and you can be notified asap.
All late sign ups after cut off time or on the morning of the walk you MUST check the website first for last minute changes.
The distance of the route is the distance of the recci by the walk leader, any detours on the day will change the mileage.
