Start Time 9:55 am - EARLY START
Walk Name Round Inner City Sheffield Walk
Description This walk takes you around the centre of Sheffield starting in Philadelphia, across the Don walking up to Pitsmoor, then down to Attercliffe (across the Don again), up to Manor Park & Arbourthorne, over to Heeley and Meersbrook, then turning down to cross the Sheaf through Nether Edge and into Sharrow, across the Porter, up to Broomhill, and finishes by descending through Crookesmoor back to the start.

It’s a circuit of the inner city, on pavements smooth and mud paths, through parks & ancient woodlands, past historical sites and sights, and by housing, allotments & factories.
There are some steps and stairs, and short steep bits (both up and down) and the entire walk crosses the Don (twice), and the Sheaf & Porter Brook.

Each ‘section’ of this walk is about 2 miles/3km so you can do it as roughly 2 miles/4 miles/6 miles …up to 14 miles!
You’re always near or crossing a bus or tram route back into Sheffield on this walk. There's hardly ever more than a mile in between bus/tram routes

If you don’t know the bus routes and stops then the walk leader knows many of them and will have a bus app with them so you can ask.
