Description | We walk away from Winster towards Clough Woods and Wensley with views of Riber Castle. Passing through lovely Wensleydale we head towards Snitterton Hall and climb to see Jughole caves. There may be time for tea at Bonsall before we walk across Bonsall mines and moors back to Winster. |

Start Point Details | Winster Free Car Park, Wensley Road, near the school (LHS on B5057 - before school as you enter Winster 30 mph zone from A6 direction). The car park is next to Winster primary school on the way out of Winster towards Darley Dale. There is space for about 15 cars but there is also some on street parking a short distance away. You could also park in the car park opposite the Miners Standard Pub at the top of the village and walk down to the start point (about 10 minutes walk) |
