Description | Head down onto the river path, Hague Bridge heading towards the Paper Mill, Head up and over the Rail Lines into Disley.Head into Lyme Park, stop at the Cage for coffee stop. Head towards the House and pick up the Gritstone Trail. Park Moor (short ascent), Bow Stones, Sponds Hill (trig) & View Point, Sweet Hill (descent) cross Higher Lane, Bailey’s Farm, Cornhill Farm, New House Farm, head into Stonehead and cross Whaley Lane, Hockerley, cross the A6 onto the Peak Forest Canal, Mid Shires Way, Goytside Farm, River Goyt path, The Torrs Centre, Millennium Bridge, Mousley Bottom and back to Hague Bar. |

Additional Information | Please bring a packed lunch & refreshments. Suitable clothing & footwear. Please be ready and booted for 10am start. Please sign up early so that you can be contacted if plans change. Toilets are available in the grounds of Lyme Park. Bring walking poles if you have them. No very steep ascents but a few steep descents. Mainly flat but we will encounter a few bumps in the landscape.. .. .. This is the walk that seven of us reccied a few weeks ago and it was well received. Dogs need to be on short leads |
