Walk Name | Never Mind The Monarchs! |
Description | Springtime in the UK and it's time to stay indoors watching pageantry on the TV with the curtains closed against the strong spring sunlight in case it fades the furniture. Not likely, I say! This is a similar walk to the one I put on for the Queen's Jubilee. Or her funeral. Or something. One of those anyway. And, because I have been crowned King of the Walks Programme and I'm inherently lazy, I'm starting it from near my house (the one with the Johnny Rotten bunting). I've changed it a bit to avoid overlapping with Bob's evening walk the week before. Beauchief - Dronfield Wooodhouse - Mickley - Totley Rise - Poynton Wood - Eccesall Woods and back via Millhouses Park and The Waggon and Horses. Coronation Chicken sandwiches all round. Hoorah.. |
