Description | Starting from Longshaw Estate we go along Burbage Rocks to Upper Burbidge Bridge then along Stanage Edge dropping down to Dennis Knoll. Down into Hathersage via Greens House and Brookfield Manor. Then along the valley to Upper Padley, Yarncliff Wood and back up though the Longshaw Estate back to the visitors centre. |

Additional Information | There are toilets at the visitors centre and in Hathersage. If the day is windy with the wind from the west, I might reverse the walk so the wind is at our back as we go along Stanage Edge. An easy walk with no significant gradients but it can be exposed on Stanage Edge if the weather is poor and a bit slippery in the woods. Dogs must be on a short lead at all times. |
