Walk Name | Old Brampton and Linacre |
Description | A lovely but muddy walk starting at the very quaint parish church in Old Brampton. (The clock face has 63 minutes on it! ) From Old Brampton we drop down to the three Linacre reservoirs, which we’ll walk around via the public toilets. We leave Linacre at the western end, crossing a Small river via stepping stones, then going up hill to the hamlet of Wigley, and a pub stop. From Wigley we descend Via Bagthorpe Lane to Frith Hall. The final ascent is back up a wet and muddy bridleway to the church and our starting point. |
