Walk Name |
Sheaf to Graves evening workout |
Description |
This walk provides an energetic circular which we should just about finish before dark. We will start by following the Sheffield Round walk in reverse heading up through Meersbrook Park, past Bishop’s House, into Cat Lane Woods to emerge onto Hemsworth Road – almost all of the ascent is in this initial section. We will then go through Graves Park, pausing at the Rose Garden for a tea (loos will almost certainly be locked, sorry). We will go down through the Ravine and then cut use Bromwich Road and a handy path behind houses to emerge at the bottom of Hutcliffe Cemetary. We will use snickets and small roads (including Todwick Road and Little London Road) to make our way back to the start. |
