| Description | If you came on my last evening walk from Millthorpe up to Cartledge, then you’re in for a real treat with this one. Starting at the same place, the Royal Oak in Millthorpe , the route takes us through woods, fields, meadows and some narrow paths. (I wore shorts and soon realised there were quite a few nettles in places) Finishing with a drink in the pub. This will be a leisurely walk, we are not racing! Please note the start time, meeting at 6.15 to start walking at 6.30 The full route is: Through the ford to Jonnygate, continuing to Rumbling Street, then to Barlow Grange. We then go through the fabulous Meekfield Woods and Strikes Wood. Then back through Unthank and Millthorpe to the Royal Oak pub for an evening drink. |
