Chair |
The Chair (chairperson or chirpy for short) is responsible for the general direction of the group, as well as ensuring that everyone else is doing what they are supposed to. Chairs committee meetings, organises the programme. With overall responsibility for all group activities. Carol's medium term ambition is to glitter the world. |

Secretary |
Hils Stevenson |
The Secretary takes the minutes of committee meetings, liaises with the Ramblers’ Association, answers new member enquiries and sends info to those who join. They are also responsible for regular checking of the group email and a million other really useful things. It's a good role for someone with a busy life as you can fit it around being stuck up to your waist in a peat bog relatively easily.
Treasurer |
The Treasurer handles the group's finances, taking care of all transactions involved with the group. The role includes preparing monthly statements for the committee and the Annual Report to the RA, as well as ensuring the group maintains a working capital and remains in the black. If anyone knows of her whereabouts or the password to the group account please contact us immediately. |

Web Co-ordinator |
Keith Hopkinson |
Token bloke. Easily the most important job....anywhere, the Web Bloke is responsible for writing this page and all the others. All of the glaring failings of this website are his fault. Ever since he went down to the crossroads at midnight and sold his soul in exchange for rudimentary html coding skills and a never ending bag of jelly babies, Keith is doomed to be website co-ordinator until the seas run dry, the sun goes red giant or until the roadworks at J26 of the M1 finish, whichever happens sooner.

Social Secretary |
The Social Secretary's job is to organise nights out, meals and other social events and to take a leading role in the drinking. Like a Butlins Red Coat but with walking boots. Some people are born to the role. |

Weekend Away Co-ordinator |
The weekend away co-ordinator ...er...co-ordinates the weekends away. She selects the accommodation, sells places, collects the money and then organises the booking, planning and running of the weekend. Cor. |
