The Chair has overall responsibility for all group activities and for the general direction of the group. Also chairs committee meetings and organises and chairs the AGM.
The Secretary takes the minutes of committee meetings, liaises with the Ramblersí Association, answers new member enquiries and sends info to those who join. Sara is also responsible for regular checking of the group email and a million other really useful things that she is sure were not on the job description when she agreed to take on the role!
The Treasurer handles the group's finances, taking care of all transactions involved with the group. The role includes preparing monthly statements for the committee and the Annual Report to the RA, as well as ensuring the group maintains a working capital and remains in the black.

The Walks Co-ordinators are responsible for pulling together a full programme of walks every three months.
The Weekends Away Co-ordinator job is to co-ordinate the weekends away, selecting the accommodation, selling places, collecting the money, organising the booking, planning and running the weekend.
The Web Editor keeps the web site pages up-to-date. Any problems with the website please contact him on the group e-mail address
The Socials Co-ordinator job is to co-ordinate and/or organise the regular meals and social events that make us a walking club "with benefits"!!
The Photo Editor manages the groups Flickr account and galleries pages that showcase the group doing what it does best; loving walking, appreciating the countryside, having fun and socialising.
